“I love the sounds of Africa, the voices, the rhythm, the soul that is captured, they make me feel that I am listening to something very familiar that obviously has to do with my origin”. Sioma is a singer, songwriter and and a live performer.

She grew up in a house full of blues, jazz, reggae and African music.

At the age of five she felt the need to express herself and did that though music. She studied music theory, piano, took vocal lessons and sang in a choir. She gradually developed her style and discovered electronic music which she masterfully combines with live vocals and brilliant songwriting techniques
