Nicodimas Sekheta Mogashoa, professionally known as Da Capo, is a South African DJ and record producer. Born and raised in Seshego, Da Capo rose to prominence after remixing the single "Pretty Disaster" by Moneoa. He then signed a recording deal with Soulstic Music and his studio debut album Indigo Child (2017), which was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa. He received the “Best Afro house DJ” award in 2019 and he established the independent record label Genesys Entity and released his EP Genesys in May 2020. He won “Remix of the year” in 2022 at the South African Music Awards for his remix work on Sun-El feat Azana “Uhuru”.
Singer, songwriter and live performer, AWEN comes from a culturally rich background. Half French, half Senegalese, AWEN studied classical music in France for a decade in her early years. In 2013, she moved to Asia to pursue her career as a lawyer in Hong Kong but life had other plans for her. In 2016, after her dad passed away she decided to quit law and chase her dream to become an artist. In 2019, she released her debut solo EP while also collaborating with some of afro house’s rising stars such as Floyd Lavine, Daniel Rateuke, Caiiro and Enoo Napa. Her music was quickly supported by famous artists of the scene, starting with Black Coffee.
